COMPLETION REPORT- RAIN WATER HARVESTING PROJECT:


KOTHALA
VILLAGE
,TALUKA SHAHAPUR, DISTRICT THANE


As the village was facing acute drinking water scarcity during March to mid June and the available sources are 250 ft deep from village, to make water available at doorstep of villagers. 

Dimension:  75 ft x 9 ft x 5 à 2 ft

 

Sealing Basin:  35 ft x 3 ½ ft x 3à 1 ½

 

Expected outcome: Water storage will be about 2400000 lit.

 

Further work required to make this water available close by to village.

The Bridge staff has undertaken base line survey with help of villagers.
